Only a few days ago we reported that the Vantage V12 RS will go in production and today we bring you proof of that: CarMagazine caught the model in testing. The production will start in 2009, in the first quarter. The V12 auto gets the name from the 6.0-litre model shoehorned right under the bonnet. The production variant will have a 550 hp output, not 600 hp like on the concept variant.
The V12 model should get new wheels also, not the blink aftermarket items seen on the static auto. The V12 Vantage RS Concept is now available in Mako Blue color and it’s expected that this will be offered also for the production variant. The production itself probably will be at Gaydon, with an expected cost in excess of £150,000.
