Mercedes CL500 4MATIC 2008

Mercedes will be offering an all-wheel drive for the luxury CL-Class Coupe model for the first time. The all new CL 500 4MATIC is offering even greater traction plus handling stability.

The CL 500 4MATIC’s powered by the V8 engine with the output of 388 hp, 530 Newton meters of torque, which’s on tap between 2800 and 4800 rpm. The mixed fuel consumption on the NEDC cycle is of 12.1 liters per 100 kilometers - bonus of the new and highly efficient all-wheel-drive system from Mercedes. The CL 500 4MATIC requires only 5.4 seconds for accelerating from zero to 60 mph, and reaches the electronically limited maximum speed of 155 mph.

Mercedes-Benz has improved further this all-wheel-drive system, using the latest-generation system on the CL 500 4MATIC – the model that has already success in the S-Class. The 4MATIC is permanently active and requires no response time on coming to the driver’s help in unfavorable weather or driving conditions. As result, critical situations can now be mastered confidently and more effectively.
