9ff breaks the record for road-going autos

Another world record being smashed: the 9ff GT9 reached an incredible 409 km/h speed becoming the fastest auto (road-going) in the world. The 9ff GT9 model accelerates to 100 km/h in just 3.4 seconds, to 200km/h in 8.2 seconds plus the digital display of that instrument panel presents the 300 km/h in amazing 16.4 seconds. The power source for this super power is a changed motor from the Porsche 996 Turbo.

The 6-cylinder water-cooled horizontally opposed engine having 4 liters cubic capacity plus dry sump that's equipped with 2 exhaust twin turbo chargers, some titanium connecting rods, forged pistons plus a 24 carat gold plated induction plate. So, the high-tech aggregate hits sensational 987 PS / 726 kW at 7,850 r.p.m. The top torque of 964 Nm is 5,970 r.p.m.
