New iDrive system for BMW M3, M5 and M6

The owners of a BMW have had some love/hate relationship concerning the iDrive since its first 2002 apparition. Some loved thse extra features added to the autos, and others really could not understand why the firm who makes the ultimate driving machine would install something so sophisticated, distracting you from the street. In an effort now to appease these both sides, BMW's introducing something simpler, but still tech-filled, iDrive.

So with the debut of these first official photos presenting the facelift M3 model, BMW
announced also the 2009 M3, M5 plus M6 will have the all-new generation control system iDrive which will be facilitating even more the activation and control of most important entertainment, navigation and communication features like a number of other functions as well.

The units BMW M5 Touring and BMW M5, BMW M6 Coupe and BMW M6 Convertible, they all have the new control system iDrive as standard. Also it comes with BMW M3 model in conjunction with some optional navigation system that's available.
