As you know, the Hyundai Tiburon after 2008 will be going to the sharks, but a brand new report is suggesting that Hyundai would not be without wheel drive (on front) sports coupe for long. So, Hyundai will reveal a brand new unit at 2009’s Motor Show in Frankfurt that will be taking the place of the fabulous Tiburon.
It's unclear what nameplate this new coupe model will be wearing, but the replacement of the Tiburon will be strongly inspired from the Veloster concept, reported 4Car.
The new coupe unit will be riding on the platform of the Hyundai i30’s and it should be (in size) comparable to the previous generation Toyota Celica. This places the new auto slightly below the amazing upcoming Kia Coupe and the Genesis Coupe model in overall size.
Hyundai hasn't revealed what powertrains will be available in this new coupe unit, but an efficient 4-cylinder will be for sure part of this equation.
The all-new coupe should reach the market after its debut in September 2009.
