Mercedes-Benz SLC 2011 is in undergoing testing in the U.S.. It is been 1 year since the first spotted SLC by Mercedes testing in America, and then it was a mule with a few Viper parts on it. This time – having gullwing doors – which would be considered some early, developmental prototype.
A SLR successor, this new auto will be product of a Mercedes - H.W.A. AG, Mercedes-Benz’ partner in Germany partnership building its Le Mans race and DTM cars, not McLaren.
The SLC coupe will debut at the Geneva Motor Show 2010, having a soft top convertible variant — codenamed R197 — it's expected to rise sometime in 2011. The concept SLC variant should make its car show rounds next year.
The road-going SLC version will be 183 long, 76.8 wide plus 49.2 - high, with the wheelbase that measures 106.3 in.
