Lexus releasing pricing for IS 2009 facelift

The present-generation sedan Lexus IS went on sale first in 2005 , in keeping with all the automaker practice in refreshing the units every 3 to 4 years the well known sedan has undergone some small facelift for the model year 2009. Changes are minimal for the car, including a few updates in styling both on inside and outside and a tweaked suspension.

Exterior modifications include new designed 17 plus 18in wheels, rear and front bumpers, revised front grille, side rear-view mirrors having incorporated turn signals. So, the interior will be receiving a center updated cluster and foldable headrests on rear.

Mechanically, these both IS 350 and IS 250 receive some revised suspension plus steering tuning. And in addition, IS 250 will be coming standard with VDIM (Vehicle Dynamics Integrated Management) with cutoff switch, which was available previously only on IS 350.

The IS 2009 250 automatic and manual, all-wheel drive IS 250, and IS 350 receiving a 0.8-1.0% cost raise of 300 dollars. This means the IS 250 having manual transmission will be carrying a base cost of 31,155 dollars, while the automatic begins at 32,325 dollars. The AWD IS 250 will set you right back with 34,785 dollars, while the IS 350 model has a standard cost of 36,605 dollars.

The Lexus IS 2009 make its official unveiling at the Paris Motor Show next month.
