Q7 V12 TDI quattro by Audi costs 130,600 Euro

Audi unveiled full details about the Q7 V12 TDI quattro 2009: the most powerful in the world diesel-engined SUV. This SUV costs 130,600 Euros (but no U.S. pricing announced, the present exchange rate is putting the cost at around 184,000 dollars) That's bad!

With a totally redeveloped rail common injection system the 12-cylinder is delivering a strong 368 kW (500 hp) plus 1,000 Nm (737.56 lb-ft) torque from capacity of 6 liters – gives the great SUV unit the sports car performance - the Q7 V12 TDI quattro.

In daily use the 12-cylinder diesel is quite frugal with the 11.3 liters economy of fuel / 100 km (at 20.82 US mpg). So, on demand, the 6-liter engine is catapulting the Audi Q7 from 0 to 100 km/h (is 62.14 mph) on 5.5 seconds just like some top-class sports auto. Speed is capped electronically on 250 km/h (at 155.34 mph).

The strongest diesel-engined SUV in the world will make its own way to the dealers towards this year's end.
