13th of September 2008 After revealing the 2009 FX50 at the Auto Show in Geneva, Infiniti will reveal also the FX37 at the Auto Show in Paris. A bad news now for the American market: the FX37 unit will not be available here.
The FX37 320 hp, available on FX37S and FX37 GT variants, will be accelerating to 62mph - 6.8 seconds onto a 145mph maximum speed. The FX37 GT basic equipment is including 20 inch alloys, all-wheel drive, Scratch Shield paint, 7-speed auto having paddle shift, cornering xenon headlights, leather upholstery – electric, ventilated front seats, parking camera, sensors, these are only a few details. The FX37S is adding 21 inch alloys, sports seats and Continuous Damping Control.
The FX37 model will be on sale costing 55,950 Euros. The FX37 will run with the same 3.7 liter V6 VQ-series engine engine that's used on the G37 Coupe model and will be delivering 300 hp.
“FX37 is a significant model for Europe and we expect it to account for as much as 80 per cent of FX sales,” says Jim Wright, the Vice President Infiniti Europe. “By combining excellent handling and punchy performance with genuine luxury and SUV practicality, FX37 will appeal to customers who appreciate quality and individuality.”
