Toyota has revealed a brand new airbag system, that`s specifically for the small autos, designed for protecting the passengers on rear. This airbag is protects the passengers on a rear end collision. And according to Toyota this all-new airbag is deploying from the roof lining up above the rear window on the curtain-like barrier form and, having the headrests, it minimizing the impact on head from the colliding car pieces of the hit auto. This technology will be featured on the all-new ultra-compact iQ 4-seater.
“Toyota has continued to actively develop and make available its collision safety technologies,” the company affirmed in a press statement. “Resulting in such achievements as the swift market introduction of SRS curtain shield and knee airbags to enable its vehicles to better respond to a greater range of accidents.”
