Caterham debutes American site

Caterham, the firm perpetuating the Lotus 7, now just starde some website for the market in America. This ultra-light, ultra-fast LS Levante model has sold out, in past it seems the market in North America missed out on a few more innovative ways for the skate-like roller auto.

The firm says, “The U.S. have had to settle for the outdated Ford X-Flow and more recently Ford Zetec engines, while the U.K. market received exciting new products. With the release of the Ford Duratec packages developed in house by Caterham Power Train (CPT), the U.S. market now has access to all the latest Caterham engine options.”

This idea may end up being a genius one. With a slowing-down economy, all the mortgage lenders from the past can't afford to buy a Porsche unit. But why cut the performance of it when you can downsize the auto? The build-it-yourself Caterham is perfect now for the past Wall Street jockey who now all of a sudden got lots of time.
