Upcoming plans for Ferrari

The convertible hardtop California is a very successful auto already, but Ferrari isn't one on dwelling on success. So, once the California will be on sale in June 2009 in the U.S., Ferrari will be preparing a redesigned F430 unit for the end of next year. The vehicle will have a brand new aluminum chassis plus an engine with direct-injection derived from California model, as well as the all-new dual-clutch 7-speed transmission.

So, in 2010 or 2011 you will see a hardtop retractable 599 GTB Fiorano version; while the 612 Scaglietti car will be, in 2011, replaced.

The greatest Ferrari news is a limited edition car, high-performance, maybe in 2010 or 2011. The vehicle will be using lightweight construction that's inspired from Millechili concept, model revealed at the 60th anniversary of Ferrari last year. This production unit will likely run with a V-12. The concept features a 550-hp, direct-injection V-8, 3.0-liter twin-turbocharged.
