Fisker`s feeling now like a family member to America. Karma may be made in Finland, premiered at the International Auto Show in North America in January, planning on using a GM engine. Fisker is showing now its fever in America again, returning next month to the Auto Show in Detroit.
"We are very excited to be bringing the Fisker Karma back to NAIAS," said Henrik Fisker - Fisker Automotive CEO. "In the year since we debuted the Karma, the reception we’ve received has been tremendous. I’m proud to announce at this time that we are already sold out on the car until mid-2010."
The Karma model is out on giving itself some performance image gaving General Motors’ 2.0 direct injection, the turbo four-cylinder gasoline Ecotec engine delivering 260 hp. The Karma unit should post zero to sixty mph times in around 5.8 sec reaching 125mph maximum speed. The powertrain organization therefor will be supplying the engine on gasoline generating electricity when you exceeded the fifty mile electric-only area.
