Land Rover is recallsingg 20,000 Range Rover units

The auto made in Britain have never been renown worldwide for their reliability, having that reputation into the twenty-first century. Although Land Rover now is owned be an India firm – and has also recent history featuring German and U.S. carmakers – it is technically still a British marque, so it can be blamed therefore for carrying this stereotype in the future.

At the moment owned by Tata, Land Rover announced a 19,169 Range Rover recall vehicles. This recall has 2003 to 2005 unit year cars.

Land Rover said the “the front differential coupling sleeve and the propeller shaft may be misaligned” on a few 2003-2005 auto year Range Rovers, that could lead eventually the front drive system failure.

No injuries or accidents are linked to this defect. So, dealers from Land Rover will start repairing recalled cars at the beginning of 2009.
