There something special in the Ohio water apparently. Earlier on this month you saw the 1,000 hp Dodge Challenger model from the RPD Performance Ohio-based, and now here`s a video of a Porsche 911 1,000 hp by SPI (Switzer Performance Innovations) of the Buckeye State.
And not all firms can get Bugatti Veyron 1,000 horsepower from the engine (a 6 cylinder one especially). Even 9ff, the super tuner is not getting this amount from a 911 turbo unit. SPI claims that its auto called 997 Sledgehammer will go from zero to 60 mph on the mid-two second range, plus as this video shows, reaches the quarter mile in just 9.796 seconds on 146 mph toping out with 195 mph.
SPI affirms the twin turbo 997 powerplant now went via extensive tuning ECU, SPI-designed new headers, intecooler pack, GT30R SPI-tuned turbos and sports exhaust system. SPI sells the entire upgrade wrap for around 50,000 Dollars. Subscribe to Car news by Email |
