Honda Accord 2009 (European variant) Type S

Honda made hot variants on its basic autos and slapping a badge `Type-S` on them many years (TLs, civics, etc.). But Honda decided now that the final European Accord (that`s known as Acura TSX in America) to get that `S` treatment mode will be diesel.

We will get out 1st view at the oil speedy burner in Geneva. So, the 2.2-liter engine produces 177 hp, that is twenty nine more than the basic Accord diesel, with 24 hp less even than a Acura TSX North America. Other features like 18-inch alloy wheels, a Type S badging, clear indicator covers, and exclusive all-new paint colors popular as 'Basque Red' and 'Premium White Pearl'.

'The 180PS diesel model will be a welcome addition to the Accord range, especially for company car drivers that want a high-specification car in an even sportier package' said Graham Avent, the Manager – Corporate Operations, Honda (UK). 'This model will undoubtedly appeal to high-performance diesel enthusiasts, looking for that something extra, but we hope it will also create a halo-effect across the diesel Accord range'.
