KTM presents its special X-Bow ROC 2009

Not lots of people consider this X-Bow by KTM an overweight vehicle, but since the KTM brand has a history with the motorcycles, it looks like this spartan auto could go now on a deserved diet. In the Race of Champions' honor where this X-Bow debuted, KTM has revealed a limited ROC edition.

This car is quite special: lightweight all from carbon body, lightweight alloy wheels, sports exhaust, a removable steering wheel – multi-function and adjustable sports suspension. The Audi-sourced 2.0-liter engine producing 236 hp it's the same. X-Bow ROC's price is 69,980 Euro(or 88,200 Dollars), representing a 20,000 Euro premium over basic X-Bow. It doesn’t have more power, but it's exclusive. The ROC has 30 units limit.

The organizers, Michelle Mouton, rally legend in particular, were fascinated with this lightweight, revolutionary supersports auto from Austria. 'The X-BOW is an exciting new sportscar – it generates an incredible furore with its spectacular design alone' affirmed Mouton, the best-known rally driver female and the most successful of all time. And the racing drivers here, were all in their maximum enthusiasm for this amazing X-BOW. David Coulthard, F1 legend said 'It’s an ingenious car concept that also looks quite simply unique'. Sebastian Vettel affirmed that 'Driving the KTM X-BOW is incredible fun' while Sebastien Loeb multiple world rally champion called it 'a great car'!
