Cadillac chief is resigning

The head of Cadillac - Mark McNabb has resigned, said the spokesperson of the brand. McNabb was the GM division chief for 13 months and, the spokesperson said, he will leave to search for other opportunities out there. Stephen J. Hill will be serving as chief at Cadillac for the interim.

Mark McNabb had been taken away from Nissan, the place he had worked hard for over twenty years - having a short stint in the interim at Mercedes-Benz.

Given he had work with Cadillac only since April, the impact of McNabb on the carmaker was inevitably minor. Like most of General Motors, Cadillac will revise the lineup for 2010 – all that slow-selling of the STS-V will be stopped, though the carmaker will be adding a redesigned SRX plus a CTS wagon unit.
