The A8 2010 by Audi gets delayed

The upcoming gen of A8 by Audi was supposed to be debuted in September in Germany at the Frankfurt Motor Show, but unfortunately its revealing was delayed alongside with the all electric highly anticipated R8 super auto. The German carmakers have decided on foregoing their own home show, even holding off on appearing with this luxury limousine at the International Auto Show in Los Angeles.

What we know is that the brand new A8 model is headed for a launch on the sunshine state, so... could it be the International Auto Show in South Florida? We will see back in Frankfurt a few of the carmaker's brand new products, the R8 Spider and A5 Sportback, both by Audi.

The Audi executives are now hesitant to reveal the all-new A8 model in L.A. or in Frankfurt because they don't want the debut of their own limousine flagship overshadowed by some other car's international unveiling. It does not hurt also that the present A8 is selling very well still, and if it is not ruined, broke then... there's no need of fixing anything. The 4 ringed carmaker has also some more autos planned for the next production, like its A7 Sportback beast that is will be revealed next year, the compact A1 unit will appear in 2010 also, shortly followed by its slightly bigger A2 plus the compact crossover Q3.
