In the last couple of weeks a lot of rumors and spy shots of the new Dacia SUV have appeared all along the internet. Now, we bring you a brand new set of spy shots of Dacia`s latest creation. Obviously, the SUV is heavily camouflaged.
As everyone can pretty clearly see, under the heavy camouflage not a lot of surprises could be hiding. The front end of the car seems to have remained as unappealing to the eye as the front end of the SUV seen in the previous spy shots. Nothing different can be said about the rear end of the car either.
Probably most of you already know that new Dacia SUV will be inspired from Nissan`s Qashqai model and will most probably receive it`s power from both diesel and petrol engines. From initial reports, it seems that the petrol engine will most likely be a 1.6 liter one while the diesel option will have 1.5 liter capacity. The power outputs of these engines range between 85 and 130 horsepower. It is also said that a higher capacity 1.9 liter diesel engine might also be fitted under the hood of the Dacia SUV.
In the beginning of this week sources informed the press that the name of the Dacia SUV will most probably be Kanjara, a name that reminds of the Qashqai name given by Nissan. Still, the original Duster name given to the concept that was presented at Geneva is still in the cards.
In terms of price levels, they are going to be most certainly lower than the vast majority of SUV`s. Dacia`s policy of making cars with great quality-to-price ratio is well known, as the Logan and Sandero models are extremely cheap for what they have to offer. Thus, sources say that most probably the price level will be around 18.000 euros.
