Acura launched the 2010 RDX model on their website

In the last couple of months a lot of rumors have surfaced on the internet showing some photos of the restyled 2010 Acura RDX . Still, in all this time Acura has not made any official statement on this subject. Now, the Japanese automaker went on and uploaded an entire gallery of photos along with prices and details of the 2010 RDX model on their official website. Acura`s controversial corporate grille is present on the outside of the 2010 RDX as well as a new front bumper and a new trim for the lower part of the rear bumper that features new hexagonal tail pipes. The new exterior features are completed by the redesigned alloy wheels, which give a nice touch of style to the car.

On the inside there are no noticeable upgrades or new features. Still, rumors claim that the 2010 RDX will have a series of equipment upgrades.

Maybe the most import feature of the 2010 Acura RDX is the addition of a new front wheel drive version. This front wheel drive version will have a base price tag of 32.520 dollars, which is 2000 dollars less than the all wheel drive model that comes equipped with the Super-Handling AWD system patented by Acura .

Both versions will get the power from the same 2.3 liter turbocharged engine that has an output of 240 horsepower. This 2.3 liter engine will be linked to a 5 speed automatic transmission. Still, the front wheel drive model is more frugal returning figures of 19mpg in the city and 24 mpg on the highway in comparison to the 17 mpg respectively 22 mpg returned by the 2010 Acura RDX SH-AWD.
