Tuning and guns companies unite to create special edition Range Rover

The tuning company Overfinch and the British sport guns producers Holland & Holland united forces, in a somewhat unusual combination, to announce today their plans to make a special edition version of the 2010 Range Rover . This special edition Range Rover will probably have a whole lot of one-of-a-kind exterior and interior features. The result of both Overfinch and Holland & Holland work will be presented on September 23rd at the Holland & Holland Shooting Grounds.

Obviously, the special edition will be produced in a limited number of units, more precisely 100. The customers will be able to choose between a 5.0 liter supercharged V8 petrol engine that has an output of 510 horsepower and a V8 turbo diesel engine.

There are very little details available at the moment, except for the teaser photos. From these teaser photos we can reckon that the Overfinch and Holland & Holland Range Rover will have a four seat layout and a modified cargo compartment with some special drawers. Still, this is just a hunch, and has not been confirmed yet.

Neil Underwood, Chief Operating Officer of Overfinch stated that ``We have worked closely with designers, engineers and the quite astonishing craftsmen of Holland & Holland, who have helped us create the most exclusive, most luxurious off-roader ever built`` . We will just have to wait and see if Mister Underwood was right and the special edition Range Rover will actually turn out to be a fabulous car.
