BMW North America has a new Chief Financial Officer

The North American division of BMW has named a new CFO (Chief Financial Officer). Stefan Sengewald will take over as Executive Vice President and Chief Executive Officer at BMW`s North American division. Stefan Sengewald is currently BMW`s Vice President of Finance Statements. He will leave his office at Munich and head overseas after working for BMW since 1987, to help the German automaker perform better in North America.

Mister Sengewald will replace Dr. Gunter Niedernhuber, who has been Chief Financial Officer for BMW`s North American division over the last three years. Stefan Sengewald has experience in working for BMW`s other international division, having worked before for both BMW`s Mexico division and BMW`s Spain division for some time.

It seems that Stefan Sengewald really is the right man for the job, if we take into consideration the fact that he has been working for BMW for over twenty years and the fact that he has previous international experiences in both Mexico and Spain, were he managed to help raise the sell levels of the BMW cars. We will just have to wait and see if Sengewald can confirm once again that he is a valuable part of the BMW Group and that he can be counted on.
