In 2015 BMW may surprise us with Triumph - an all-electric unit

The Mini E Coopers 500 electric gets worldwide testing by BMW. AutoCar said the prototypes are preparing us for a Triumph all-electric or... maybe a Wolseley. In a reviving rush the Wolseley and Triumph rights name got bought BMW when it acquired in 1994 the Rover.

All the information collected from the Mini E Coopers will be used to develop BMW’s next generation of electric vehicles and its ongoing ‘Project i’ program.

AutoCar was informed by a A Mini spokesman that in 2015 an all-electric car could be found on market and it may not have the 'Mini' name. 'It is going to be a competitor to the G-Wiz; it will be a premium model. It won’t necessarily be a BMW or a Mini, it could be another brand like Isetta, Wolseley or Triumph' the spokesman stated.
