Hamann 5 Series GT

Hamann , the German tuning company, has put on the internet a photo gallery in which we can see a modified BMW 5 Series GT . The BMW 5 Series range of models has received a new addition not a long time ago, more precisely the GT version. The BMW 5-Series GT is, after the BMW X6, one of the most controversial cars in the BMW range. It is safe to say that the BMW 5-series GT is one of those cars that you either love or you hate. The Hamann version of the 5-Series GT that we see in the pictures has a wheelbase that has the same length as the 7-Series. Also, on the inside there is more than enough seating space for no less than four people.

Unfortunately, we have no other information at this moment regarding the Hamann version of the 5-series GT. The BMW 5-Series GT has three power options, more precisely a 3 liter turbo diesel engine that has an output of 245 horsepower and 540 Nm of torque, a 3 liter turbo petrol engine that has an output of 306 horsepower and 400 NM and last but not least a 4.4 liter twin-turbo petrol engine that has an output of 408 horsepower. The Hamann modified BMW 5-series sedan has its engine tuned up with up to 27 horsepower and 45 Nm more in comparison with the stock car.

The expectations are big as the official launch of the Hamann 5-Series GT will take place at the Frankfurt Motor Show. We all expect to see power and visual upgrades like powerful brakes, different tailpipes, signature black wheels, a modified front end and rear bumper and a lot of branded interior accesories.
