Two new Mitsubishi Outlander versions in the UK

The Japanese automaker Mitsubishi was well known in the 1990s for two of their models. The first one was the Lancer Evolution thanks to the great performances it had in the World Rally Car Championship. The second model was the Mitsubishi Pajero. In those days, the Pajero was practically the icon of the off-road vehicles. When you thought of a car that was great in both on and off-road, you thought of the Mitsubishi Pajero. Nowadays, things have evolved and are a little different. The Lancer Evolution has reached its tenth generation and is still one of the highly appreciated sport sedans. The Mitsubishi Pajero is still offered in the range of models that the Japanese automaker, but things have changed a lot. The Pajero has almost completely the same design it had in the 1990s and was very lightly modified in the last couple of years. Drops have fallen dramatically, but I guess Mitsubishi still keeps the car for the nostalgic people that have lots of money. The place of the Pajero was more or less taken by the Outlander. The Mitsubishi Outlander is a modern looking SUV with more than decent off-road capabilities that has had success in terms of sales. The fact is that the Outlander manages to survive in a segment that has a lot of competitors thanks to its modern design and great on and off-road capabilities.

Today, the Japanese automaker Mitsubishi has added the 2.0 DI-D SE and GSE versions to the Outlander range of models for the British line up. Both versions have a 2 liter turbo diesel engine that has an output of 138 HP. The Mitsubishi Outlander DI-D SE come with a large number of features, including 18 inch alloy wheels, a third row of seats, Bluetooth, side and curtain airbags, privacy glass and cruise control. The price for the SE version starts from 19.999 pounds. The GSE version is more luxurious and comes with an extra rear ceiling mounted DVD player and leather seats in comparison to the SE and has base price with 1500 pounds higher.
