2010 Jaguar XKR made by Arden

Some cars really do not need to be modified by some obscure tuning companies. Some cars are just so good in stock version that it is a real shame to modify them. Almost in every case the car resulted from the modifications done by some wannabe tuning company to a state of the art model is horrible. The modified car looks a lot worse and the performances have been only insignificantly improved. These kind of tuning companies just want to make a quick buck with almost no work whatsoever. That would be ok if they would not denigrate the image and essence of a beautiful car in stock version. This is the case of a tuning company called Arden and the 2010 Jaguar XKR .

A German tuning company called Arden has launched their own version of the 2010 Jaguar XKR Convertible . Arden has modified the V8 5.0 liter engine that has a stock output of 510 horsepower and 625 Nm. After their tweaks, the engine manages to develop a power of 540 HP and 675 Nm. The performance of the car was also improved with the help of a sport suspension with new shocks and thanks to the removal of the electric speed limiter.

Moving on to the general styling of the car, Arden has modified the front grille and the air intakes of the 2010 Jaguar XKR with chrome plated handmade stainless steel grille. The rear end of the car was modified with a new diffuser that accommodates the new sport exhaust system and the tailpipes. Arden has also mated the car with a set of 21 inch Sportline alloy wheels about which some people might say that are ugly.
