New Nissan Maxima hits the market

The Japanese automaker Nissan is the eighth biggest selling auto group in the world, managing to sell 1.545.976 cars in the first half of this year. One of the cars that is responsible of the good selling figures is the Nissan Maxima . The four door sports sedan is currently at its seventh generation. The first generation of the Nissan Maxima has appeared on the market in 1981 and every generation since has been a great success in terms of sales.

The restyled 2010 Nissan Maxima has hit the North American market. The restyled 2010 Nissan Maxima is available at the Nissan dealerships for a price starting at 30.460 dollars for the 3.5 S version and 33.180 dollars for the 3.5 SV version, that is better equipped. Both the 3.5 S and 3.5 SV come with a V6 3.5 liter engine that has an output of 290 horsepower that will be mated to a CVT with available paddle shifters. The new features available in the 2010 Nissan Maxima are new wheel finishes, a standard Bluetooth Hands-free Phone System and new or revised option packages that include some fabulous features like a new 7 inch color monitor and a 2 GB Music Server. Not bad at all for a 30.000 dollars car. And that is not all. Nissan states that the HDNS (Hard Drive Navigation System) has been improved and includes now the capability to play DVDs, streaming audio via Bluetooth, XM NavTraffic Real Time Traffic Information and XM NavWeather. Quite an impressive list of features that I am sure will make the 2010 Nissan Maxima one of the best sold cars in its segment.
