Design study named Mazda Yuuga Coupe

Design studies are maybe one of the most important underrated automobile activities. Design studies are the base, the starting point if you want, for the cars of tomorrow. The best way to see the importance of design studies is to look back at the history of car design. If you do that, you will see how much the design of cars has evolved from decade to decade. You might say that not many production cars have had an earlier design study. That is true just partially. Maybe a specific model did not have a concept study before it came out in the production ready state, but more than surely the design lines, the design pattern and angles of the lines of the chassis have been inspired from an earlier concept study. In the case of many automakers, a concept study has defined the future of all the models that hey came out on the market with. More than surely you can see that some certain automakers have cars that have similar design lines and patterns, even if the cars occupy different segments. Some design studies look way too futuristic and maybe fictional for them to look the same in the production ready state, but sometimes a design study looks fabulous and you would want to see it immediately on the streets. A perfect example of such a design study is represented by the Mazda Yuuga Coupe that was imagined and realized by Imran Ali, who graduated the automotive design class at the Swansea Metropolitan University. The Mazda Yuuga Coupe concept study was first shown to the public last month at the National Waterfront Museum that is located in the United Kingdom, in Swansea to be more precise. The design study made by Imran Ali is a great looking coupe with four seats that was inspired from the conceptual production model design language of Mazda .

Being a design study, we can only imagine whether the Mazda Yuuga Coupe has a front wheel drive or a rear wheel drive, but this is not actually all that important. What is important is the fact that the concept study looks great and hopefully we will see a car with a design like this on the streets.
