Audi confirms prices for three US models

The German automaker Audi has announced the US market official prices for the 2010 A5 and S5 Cabriolet and S4 sedan models. The Audi S4 and S5 get their power from a V6 3.0 liter supercharged engine that has an output of 333 horsepower. The new 2010 Audi S5 and S4 will hit the market towards the end of the month of August. The 2010 Audi A5 will make its appearance in the Audi showrooms across the USA sometime in the fall of this year. The 2010 Audi S4 sedan will compete directly against cars like the BMW 335i. The German automaker has set a price tag of 45.900 dollars for the six speed manual gearbox version and 47.300 dollars fir the S-Tronic twin-clutch transmission version.

The 2010 Audi S4 manages to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in just 4.9 seconds, a performance better with 0.4 seconds in comparison to the previous Audi S4 that had a V8 engine. Also, the new S4 is more eco friendly, managing to give figures of 18 mpg in the city and 27 mpg on the highway, figures that are better when compared to the 13 mpg in the city and 20 mpg on the highway of the previous Audi S4.

The new Audi A5 cabriolet has a fully automated soft top and will come in the base version with a 2.0 liter TSI engine while the top of the line Audi S5 will get a 3.0 liter TSI engine that has an output of 333 horsepower. The Audi A5 Cabriolet 2.0T Multitronic comes with a front wheel drive and has a price of 42.000 dollars while the Tiptronic Quattro version has a price tag of 44.100 dollars. The sportier Audi S5 Cabriolet has a starting price of 58.250 dollars.
