New Volkswagen Transporter limited edition launched

Volkswagen has launched the new Transporter Sportline Limited Edition X model. Volkswagen has launched a lot of limited editions of various models in their lineup. The Transporter Sportline is just the latest addition to a long list of limited edition models. The Volkswagen Transporter has features like rear and front spoilers, 18 inch alloy wheels, leather seats and chrome grilles and side sills. In addition to all of these features, the Sporline X versions have extra features, like rear parking sensors, chrome and black Dakar alloy wheels, specific floor mats, leather steering wheel and gear lever and specially designed black and blue leather seats with limited edition numbered tags. The Volkswagen Transporter Sporline Limited Edition X is available in either short and long wheelbase panel van or short wheelbase kombi. The limited edition Transporter will be produced in only 150 units for the United Kingdom and each vehicle will be individually numbered.

Customers will be able to choose between two metallic paint colors, more precisely Shadow Blue or Reflex Silver. According to the statements of the German automaker, the Transporter Sportline T30 that comes with a 2.5 liter TDI engine that has an output of 174 horsepower will be more expensive by 500 pounds in comparison to the basic model. The base price for the metallic paint short wheelbase panel van Transporter Sportsline limited edition is 25.065 pounds, the long wheelbase panel van will a base price tag of 25.545 pounds while the kombi will have a price of 26.085 pounds. Honestly, I do not know who would want to buy a van like this. Fortunately, the limited edition comes in only 150 units, so hopefully sooner or later all of the vans will be sold.
