The newest flagship from Bentley – the British maker, was just revealed at the Pebble Beach Concours d'Elegance yesterday. This Grand Bentley, is wearing the Mulsanne nameplate, it will be on sale next year, costing about 300,000 Euro. Mulsanne can be seen also next month, at the Frankfurt Auto Show.

There are no technical details revealed officially yet, but the vehicle will be the 1st one to be fully designed, engineered, made with no Rolls Royce help. It has a V8 engine, like the one on the car that it will replace – the Arnage.

Bentley Motors CEO - Franz-Josef Paefgen affirmed at the revealing. 'The challenge we set our engineers was to create a grand new Bentley that would stand as the pinnacle of British luxury motoring, offering the world’s most exclusive driving experience. They have responded to this challenge with real passion and the result is a luxury grand tourer that sets new standards in terms of comfort, effortless performance and hand-crafted refinement – the very qualities for which Bentley is renowned'.

As for the name of this Bentley, the firm says it 'reflects Bentley’s sporting pedigree and unique association with Le Mans, where we have been victorious six times'.

'This famous corner at the end of the straight is synonymous with the Bentley marque. Few places offer a stronger or more emotive connection with Bentley than the famed Mulsanne corner'.

Obviously, Mulsanne has a few secrets left for revealing and you can see it all in Frankfurt next month.
