First Bentley Mulsanne sold for half a million dollars

We live in an insane world. A world where million of people die of hunger while a select group of extremely wealthy people buy watches that costs hundreds of thousand dollars or euros. While the vast majority of the people living on this planet work extremely hard every day, a select group of people can afford anything. This is the case of one lucky son of a gun that bought the first Bentley Mulsanne .

The world premiere of the new 2011 Bentley Mulsanne took place in the last weekend in Monterrey, California during the Pebble Beach Concours d`Elegance. Bentley made the best out of this event and sold the very first unit of their luxurious flagship sedan at the Gooding & Company auction. The Bentley Mulsanne that was sold had the chassis engraved with the marking No1 on it. The lucky guy who got the first Bentley Mulsanne preferred to remain anonymous after paying no less than half a million dollars. You heard it right, 500.000 dollars were paid for the first Bentley Mulsanne.

The 2011 Bentley Mulsanne is set to replace the Arnage from the British automaker`s range of models. The 2011 Bentley Mulsanne will hit the market in the summer of the next year.
