GT package for the Honda Civic launched

The Japanese automaker Honda seems to be in a promoting period for their Civic model. As you already read a couple of days ago, Honda launched a Si version of the Civic for the British market. Now, the Honda Civic got a GT package for the German market. The GT package practically makes the Honda Civic look sportier, more aggressive if you want. The GT package is only available for the 1.4 Sport version that has a petrol engine with an output of 100 horsepower and the 1.8 Sport version that has a petrol engine that has an output of 140 horsepower. The GT package practically has some features like a fuel cap, painted bumpers and side skirts, dark chrome door handles and mesh front grille.

The changes to the appearance of the Honda Civic are completed by the dark finish alloy wheels at the outside and the half leather upholstery on the inside. The price of the GT package is of only 500 euros, which is quite a bargain to be honest. The GT package can be used with only four exterior colors of the Honda Civic, more precisely Deep Sapphire Blue Pearl, Milano Red, Crystal Black Pearl and Alabaster Silver Metallic.

I think that the GT package for the Honda Civic will have a great success especially thanks to the low price of only 500 euros. I do not know why anyone would not want to get a car with a sportier looks for a mere 500 euros. These types of marketing ideas are great and I think that Honda should have similar ideas for more models in their range.
