First official photos of the 2010 Honda CR-V

Some time ago, in May to be precise, a leaked photo showing the 2010 Honda CR-V with a new fascia standing outside a restaurant in Dublin, Ohio appeared on the internet. It looks like that certain picture actually showed the prototype of the 2010 Honda CR-V . We know this because today an official photo of the new Honda CR-V has been put on the official website of the Japanese automaker. The Japanese automaker stated that the 2010 Honda CR-V will have its public debut on the 17th of September. Coincidence or not, the Frankfurt Auto Show debuts on the 17th of September. Thus, it is more than certain that the public debut of the 2010 Honda CR-V will take place in Germany, at the Frankfurt Auto Show.

The 2010 Honda CR-V features only extremely subtle styling changes in comparison to the current model, so only a trained eye will actually manage to spot the differences. From what we can see, the main changes are smaller fog light housings, larger upper grille, reshaped front bumper with a new lower part and obviously, a modified lower grille. There are no other details regarding the mechanical part of the car, or if any upgrades were made.

We will just have to wait because in a short time it is clear that Honda will launch all the details regarding the 2010 Honda CR-V for the European and North American market, as well as the JDM (Japanese Domestic Market). See the photos below.
