Porsche Boxster roadster and Cayman coupe get modified by TechArt

The facelifted versions of the Porsche Cayman Coupe and Boxster roadster have been modified by the Porsche tuning specialist TechArt with just a couple of weeks before the official start of the 2009 Frankfurt Auto Show. The tuning program has features like carbon interior packages, two different aerokits, a set of sport springs as well as daytime running lights. Thanks to all these features, the styling of the two facelifted Porsche models is modified.

TechArt claims that their aerokits are meant to optimize the drag coefficient of the Cayman coupe and the Porsche Boxster roadster thanks to the fact that aero kits have features like a new rear apron with an integrated diffuser that supports twin tailpipes from the sonorous sport exhaust system, a front spoiler with a spoiler lip that match the body color, side sills and new LED daytime running lights as well as a rear wing.

Obviously, alloy wheels could not miss out of a tuning package. The aerokit is finished with a range of 19 or 20 inch alloy wheels that are available in a whole lot of colors and designs. Another very interesting feature of the tuning program is a lowering kit and TechArt sport springs that lower the ride height by 30 millimeters, to ensure almost perfect drag.

Moving on towards the interior of the cars, we can see that TechArt has modified it with features like illuminated entry sills with individual logos, a full leather treatment with contrasting seams, a three spoke sport steering wheel, decorative carbon fiber trim and more. All in all, it is very clear that TechArt has invested a lot of time and money into the development of this tuning program and I am sure that it will be able to sell in an appropriate manner and rhythm for both the Porsche Cayman and the Boxster.
