Audi TT RS gets more power from Sportec

People that have bought the Audi TT RS coupe and roadster now have quite a large offer of performance upgrades from which to choose. After the performance kit launched by MCCHIP, now, Sportec has announced the launch of a Stage 1 engine upgrade package that makes the 2.5 liter turbocharged engine with five cylinder to develop no less than 400 HP. The Stage 1 engine kit made by Sportec upgrades the ECU of the engine managing to increase the power output from 340 horsepower at 5400 revs per minute and 450 Nm available from 1600 revs per minute to 400 horsepower at 5800 revs per minute and 544 Nm of torque available at 2650 revs per minute. Sportec claims that thanks to this upgrade, the Audi TT RS manages to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in just 4.2 seconds, a time better with 0.4 seconds in comparison to the stock car. Also, the Stage 1 engine package made by the Swiss tuning company removes the 250 km/h factory speed limit, making it go as fast as the engine allows it without any more electronic limitations.

The price for the Stage 1 engine package made by the Swiss tuning company Sportec is set at 1200 pounds. Sportec is also developing more styling, dynamic and performance upgrades for the Audi TT RS that will be launched in the future. The pictures you see below show a stock Audi TT RS, but since the upgrade made by Sportec is pure technical, you can imagine the car in the pictures below having an engine with an output of 400 horsepower.
