The 2010 Audi Q7 will hit the North American market in just a couple of days, in the start of the month of September. The German automaker has now released official information regarding the pricing levels of the facelifted Audi Q7. The 2010 Audi Q7 will be available on the North American market with a choice of three powertrain options. It is important to mention that the redesigned Audi Q7 has some subtle interior and exterior improvements as well as a revised engine range.
The entry level Audi Q7 will get its power from a V6 3.6 liter petrol engine that has an output of 280 horsepower. The price tag for the entry level Audi Q7 will be of 46.900 dollars. Diesel lovers can choose a V8 4.2 liter TDI engine that has an output of 340 horsepower that comes with a price tag of 50.900 dollars. The cream of the crop restyled Audi Q7 will get its power from a V8 4.2 liter petrol engine that has an output of 350 horsepower that will be available for a base price of 61.000 dollars. Thus, we can see a difference of 14.000 dollars between the entry level and top of the range Audi Q7.
The main new features of the 2010 Audi Q7 consist of S line treatment for the Q7 4.2 quattro, a new lower body panel trim with contrast paint for the Q7 3.6 quattro, full body paint with Chrome package on the Q7 TDI quattro diesel, newly designed alloy wheels, exterior mirror housings, updated front and rear bumpers, reworked single frame grille in gloss black with vertical chrome strips and revised headlamps and taillights.
Moving on towards the inside of the car, we can see a new instrumentation font, optional ventilated front seats, additional interior chrome accents, new decorative trim on the passenger side of the dashboard, an upgraded MMI system and additional lighting on all four doors. All in all, a fair price for the Audi SUV, if we consider the list of enhancements it comes with.
