Fiat 500 Abarth gets 200 HP

The tuning industry has taken large proportions in the last couple of years. There are a lot tuning companies that modify factory cars to make them look better or drive faster. But have you ever heard of a tuning company that has modified an already modified car? Well, this might be the first case ever. A German tuning company named Karl Schnorr Kraftfahrzeuge (for your one mental health, do not even try to pronounce correctly that name) has done it. They have announced the launch of a sport tuning package for the Fiat 500 Abarth . Abarth has modified the Fiat 500 in both terms of styling and performance. The Fiat 500 Abarth features a 1.4 liter turbo engine that has an output of 135 horsepower. Now, Karl Schnorr Kraftfahrzeuge (couldn`t have they chosen a shorter, easier to pronounce name?) informs us that their sport tuning package contains both engine and chassis modification of the Fiat 500 Abarth . Thus, potential customers have a choice of two different engine upgrades. The first engine upgrade makes it more powerful by 28 horsepower and 45 Nm of torque for an output of 163 horsepower and 251 Nm of torque. This engine package can be purchased by Fiat 500 Abarth owners for the price of only 950 euros (quite cheap if I might say so).

Moving on to the second sport package, we can tell you that it features a larger turbocharger, a remapped ECU and a sport exhaust system. All these new features add 65 horsepower to the initial 135 HP of the Fiat 500 Abarth, making the engine have an output of 200 horsepower. Can you imagine that little beast go? The price for this second engine kit rises up to the figure of 5050 euros.

Karl Schnorr Kraftfahrzeuge (for Heaven`s sake!) also made a special coil over kit that drops the ride`s height by a coupe of millimeters for an additional 1270 euros. Also, visual upgrades feature 17 inch OZ alloy wheels finished in red and new racing stripes for an additional 1090 euros.
