Suzuki SX4 Sedan launched in UK

The Japanese automaker Suzuki has launched a sedan version of the Suzuki SX4 on the British market. The Suzuki SX4 sedan has a height of 1545 millimeters, a length of 4510 millimeters and a width of 1730 millimeters. Maybe the most important feature of the sedan version of the Suzuki SX4 is the big luggage comportment that now has a volume of 515 liters. The base price tag for the Suzuki SX4 will be of 11.895 pounds. The sedan will get its power from a 1.6 liter engine that has an output of 107 horsepower. With this engine, the Suzuki SX4 sedan manages to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 10.7 seconds and to achieve a top speed of 180 km/h, figures that represent decent performances for a cheap sedan.

If we are to believe the Japanese automaker, then the SX4 sedan has a combined fuel consumption of 41.5 mpg UK and a level of 165 grams/kilometer carbon dioxide emissions. The Suzuki SX4 sedan comes equipped with similar features as the hatchback version. Thus, the main features are heated door mirrors, six airbags, keyless entry/start, four electric windows, 15 inch alloy wheels, MP3/WMA compatible CD tuner and automatic air conditioning. The most important thing is that all these features come as standard. Thus, you can have a Suzuki SX4 sedan with a 1.6 liter engine and all that equipment for a mere 11.895 pounds. Sounds like a fair price to me, but it is a known fact that British people are not very keen on Japanese cars. We will just have to wait and see if the sales figures will confirm this tradition or not. In any case, it is clear to me that Suzuki is doing the best they can to survive the economical crisis.
