Third Honda Accord Crosstour teaser photo released

As you all already know, the Japanese automaker Honda is painfully teasing us (it is not a pleasant pain either) with the launch of a number of photos that slowly reveal their latest creation called the Honda Accord Crosstour . The Honda Accord Crosstour, as it was seen in a series of spy shots back in May, will be a contender for the BMW 5-Series GT . Now, for the last coupe of weeks, Honda decided to start slowly showing us the way their new car will look. In the first teaser photo we saw the grille of the car. In the second teaser photo we got a look at the headlights and fog lights if you wish of the Honda Accord Crosstour. Now, Honda has launched a third teaser photo. In the latest teaser photo we can see the rear quarter of their BMW 5-Series GT contender. For those of you who forgot, we have to remind you that the agony will soon be over as the Japanese automaker Honda promised to finally officially reveal the Accord Crosstour on the 1st of September.

I think that Honda is making a mistake by launching the Accord Crosstour. Generally speaking, the Honda models are quite good looking (not to mention the high quality they have) so the fact that they will launch a hideous looking car just to compete with the BMW 5-Series GT is a desperate action in the attempt to survive the financial crisis. It is obvious that all the automakers want to survive this economical and financial crisis, but I think that they should not take desperate actions and keep some dignity to preserve a hard built good brand image.
