Further details and video regarding BMW secret concept

The BMW Vision EfficientDynamics sports car concept has drawn a lot of buzz around it. There is a lot of interest from both usual people and the media. The public debut of the BMW Vision EfficientDynamics will take place next month during the Frankfurt Auto Show. The latest rumors claim that the BMW Vision EfficientDynamics will be a hybrid (diesel-electric) sports car that will have two plus two seats. The power will most likely come from a very powerful hybrid drivetrain that consists of a small three cylinder diesel engine and two extra electric engines.

From what the rumors claim, the total power delivered from the diesel engine and the two electric engines will be as high as 350 HP. Thanks to this power and to the lightweight materials used for the construction of the car, the BMW Vision EfficientDynamics will have similar performances to the ones managed by the BMW M3 sports sedan (or coupe). Still, the most important thing maybe, is that while being as fast as the BMW M3 sports car, the Vision EfficientDynamics will have a fuel consumption level comparable to the one of the Toyota Prius.

It is also very important to mention that the futuristic concept car can function on either the diesel engine, the two electric engines or on all three engines at a time. Another important feature, from what rumors claim, is that the car will have a battery pack that will be partially charged through the help of regenerative braking or it can be charged from a standard outlet, obviously.
