Honda releases new images of Accord Crosstour as a response to the critics

After a series of four teaser photos, the Japanese automaker Honda finally decided exactly one week ago to finally reveal their new Honda Accord Crosstour ahead of its public debut that will take place next week in Germany during the Frankfurt Auto Show. What everyone saw in the official pictures came as no real shock, after a series of spy photos appeared in the month of May this year. Still, everyone was very disappointed by the way the Honda Accord Crosstour looks. To be honest, I actually said that I had higher hopes from Honda, but unfortunately this is what happens when you try to compete with another hideous car. As you all might know, the Honda Accord Crosstour is destined to be a direct competitor for the BMW 5-Series GT, which is also a very ugly looking car. To leave away any suspicions, I do believe that both the BMW 5-Series GT and Honda Accord Crosstour are good cars. They have a great interior build quality (even design), have great features, they offer a very high level of comfort and come with a big range of engines to choose from. The thing is that in terms of styling, they are hideous. If you do not care at all about the way your car looks, then the BMW 5-Series GT or the Honda Accord Crosstour are great cars for you.

Well, the thing is that the Japanese automaker Honda felt really offended when they saw that all the feedback coming after they revealed the Accord Crosstour was extremely negative. The negative feedback was coming in like a tsunami, on forums, blogs and even on Honda`s official Facebook page. Well, a mature reaction would have implied fining or even firing the designers responsible for the way the Honda Accord Crosstour looks or even postponing the launch of the Accord Crosstour to remake its design. But, apparently, Honda does not want to throw out the window all the work done to this car, even if it looks bad.

The Japanese automaker decided to come out and state the initial photos were not the best, not showing the vehicle in its best angles. Thus, Honda decided tot confound their critics and launch a new set of photos showing the Honda Accord Crosstour. A dark cherry color was used this time to show their BMW 5-series GT contender. We also get to see the Honda Accord Crosstour from a lot of different angles and even on the side of a road.

Well, to expose my own personal opinion, I have to say that this car makes the Porsche Panamera or the BMW X6 to look decent. If I would not consider myself as being a professional writer with objective opinions, I would cry out: Why Honda, why? I am blind! Why?! But because I think I am as objective as possible, I will just going to say that new pictures taken from better angles and with a better looking color can not save a horrible design done to a car. I just hope that people will remember other horrible cars like the Porsche Panamera, BMW 5-Series Crossover and the cream of the crop, the BMW X6 before saying that this is the ugliest car ever.
