New photo of the Lexus LF-Ch released online

What we have here is a new photo of the Lexus LF-Ch compact hatchback. The Japanese automaker Lexus intends to publicly present the LF-Ch compact hatchback next week in Germany at the 2009 edition of the Frankfurt Auto Show. As you well known, the Lexus LF-Ch is a hybrid (petrol-electric) compact hatchback. The Japanese automaker plans to launch a production version of the LF-Ch sometime in 2010. Until now we only got to see the car from a rear to front perspective. Now we get to see the Lexus LF-Ch compact hatchback from the front, giving us a good perspective of the car.

From what we see, the premium compact hatchback Lexus LF-Ch looks very good. Still, we should not get over ecstatic, because the Japanese automaker Lexus will be bringing to Frankfurt only a concept of the car. It is quite clear that Lexus wants to compete with the German automakers in the premium compact hatchback segment. Thus, the Lexus LF-Ch will most probably be a direct contender for cars like the Audi A3, BMW 1-Series and even the Volkswagen Golf . From my opinion the Lexus LF-Ch looks great. And I honestly think that, from what we can see in the pictures, the Lexus LF-Ch looks a whole lot better than the Volkswagen Golf and the Audi A3, not to mention the boring BMW 1-Series. We will just have to hope that Lexus does not chicken out and thus the production version of the Lexus LF-Ch will look just as great as the concept version looks. If they manage to get out a production version of the Lexus LF-Ch that looks just like the car shown in the pictures below, I think that Lexus will have a winner in terms of sales.
