The Italian automaker Alfa Romeo decided to bring to Germany at the Frankfurt Auto Show their latest concept called Alfa Romeo MiTo Quadrifoglio Verde. This comes as a small surprise as many people expected Alfa Romeo to present at the Frankfurt Auto Show the Alfa Romeo MiTo GTA. The Alfa Romeo MiTo Quadrifoglio will get its power from an engine that is more powerful by 15 horsepower in comparison to the 1.4 liter TBi unit. To be more precise the Alfa Romeo MiTo Quadrifoglio Verde will get its power from a revolutionary 1.4 liter MultiAir turbo engine that has an output of 170 horsepower. A newly developed C635 six speed gearbox helps the power to get to the front wheels. Thus, the Alfa Romeo MiTo Quadrifoglio Verde has a front wheel drive system.
Alfa Romeo says that the MiTo Quadrifoglio Verde will have an extra urban fuel consumption of 4.8 liters per 100 kilometers, a level of 139 grams per kilometer of carbon dioxide emissions while being able to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in about seven seconds.
One of the most impressive features available for the Alfa Romeo MiTo Quadrifoglio Verde is the co-developed with Magneti Marelli system called Dynamic Suspension. This Dynamic Suspension system consists of an interface for three different settings (Dynamic, Normal and All Weather), four electronically controlled shock absorbers, a control unit and five accelerometer sensors.
Moving on towards the styling of the car, we can see that the Alfa Romeo MiTo Quadrofoglio Verde gets a lot of elements finished in satin titanium, including the wing mirrors, the 17 inch alloy wheels, the tail lamps and the headlights. In the inside we can also see white lighting on the instrument panel, different fabric used to upholster the seats and the dashboard.
