Seat IBZ concept previews Ibiza ST

The Spanish automaker Seat has decided to show to the public a concept called Seat IBZ. The Seat IBZ is meant to preview the production version of the Seat Ibiza ST (Sport Tourer) that will hit the market sometime next year. The main features of the Seat IBZ concept include a futuristic instrument panel, LED tail and head lamps, a flat bottomed steering wheel, 19 inch alloy wheels with 235/35 tires, a sporty interior made out of high quality materials and interesting styled front and rear bumpers. I noticed that the front end of the Seat IBZ shows an evolution of the latest design language of Seat with the bonnet that now has a running edge. Other interesting features include a panoramic glass sunroof and hidden rear door handles.

The Seat IBZ has a hidden area underneath the normal boot. We also get to see the spacious boot that has a volume of 410 liters. It is important to mention that the boot space can be improved by the folding down of the rear seats. Thanks to this, the boot stretches all the way to the front seats, allowing a huge volume of stuff to be transported.

The Spanish automaker Seat claims that the access to the back seats has been improved thanks to the broader rear doors. They also mention that the total length of the IBZ concept is of 4220 millimeters while having the same width and height as the normal Seat Ibiza . The Seat Ibiza ST is expected to hit the market in the summer of the next year.

Well, the Seat IBZ concept looks just like we expected. Really sporty with a hint of German work. All in all, the car looks pretty good and if it will look the same in the production ready version, it will definitely pile up a big fan base craving to have one.
