Custom Camaro SS 2010 entering Formula Drift

All-new, the custom drift machine Camaro SS 2010 is being made by BR Racing with Conrad Grunewald Racing (in partnership) for Formula DRIFT Championship 2010 competition, having the tire sponsor - Hankook.

Formula DRIFT, entering the 6th season, is recognized now like the North American drifting professional championship. 'I am very excited to be able to drive such an iconic American muscle car in the Formula DRIFT Championship' stated for the press Conrad Grunewald, the owner and driver of Conrad Grunewald Racing.

Grunewald continued 'Our main goal is to have the Camaro ready for the 2009 SEMA show but our preseason testing should start immediately after the show. I have a great amount of confidence that BR Racing and Luke Lonberger can build this Camaro into a highly competitive car and I look forward to getting back out on the track'.

Grunewald said Camaro will be using R-S3 Hankook Ventus tires on Forgeline aluminum custom three-piece wheels. The vehicle will be controlled by Multi-Pro-R2 of Eibach 2-way adjustable coilovers and dampers.

Camaro will be powered by a supercharged GM Performance LS-A V8 6.2 liter engine, AEM Universal EMS controlled, expected on making at least 600 RWHP. The body work is from carbon fiber - Seibon Carbon.

The auto can be seen at the SEMA Show this year at Las Vegas Convention Center on 3-6 of November.
