The Italian automaker Fiat decided it was time to show off the 2010 year model Panda. After looking at the photo(s) below, you will wonder what is new about the 2010 Fiat Panda and start looking for differences. Honestly, it is extremely hard to tell by eye, so we will just have to trust the press release of the Italian automaker.
Thus, according to what the people over at Fiat claim, the 2010 Fiat Panda will get four new exterior colors to the lineup already available, a more contemporary body colored grille that is available on the 4X2 and 4X4 Dynamic version, silver trim finish for the roof bars, new alloy wheel options and larger exterior mirrors.
Moving on towards the interior, we will get to see (when it will make its public debut) a new selection of upholstery colors meant to please all types of customers.
Potential buyers of the 2010 Fiat Panda will be able to choose from a wide range that includes LPG, gasoline, diesel and natural gas engines that have outputs from 54 horsepower all the way to 100 horsepower. The most important addition to the range of engines is represented by a 1.2 liter petrol engine that has an output of 69 horsepower and a level of 113 grams per kilometer of carbon dioxide emissions.
The Fiat Panda was first launched on the market back in 2003. In its six years of existence, over one and a half million units of the Fiat Panda were sold worldwide. It is also important to mention that the Fiat Panda was the base for new models like the Ford Ka or Fiat 500. All in all, we can say that the Fiat Panda is a successful car, mostly thanks to its low price, and not thanks to its looks.
