Honda Civic Type R Mugen test drived

The Japanese automaker Honda decided to ship one of their highly anticipated and eagerly awaited cars all the way to Great Britain for some extra testing. In this process, the car got on the hands of Matt Prior, a journalist who could not stand the chance to give it a spin. You are wondering what car I am talking about. Well, I am talking about the Honda Civic Type R Mugen. It seems that Honda wants to further develop it, so they shipped a couple of units in Europe for this process. Matt Prior, the journalist who had the opportunity to test drive the Honda Civic Type R Mugen said the car is still a long way off other hot hatches like the Renault Megane R26 for example. Mister Prior said that the rear suspension and the chassis need a lot of more work if the car wants to successfully compete on the European market.

What we have below is the video of the test drive done by Matt Prior. In this video we get to see and especially hear the Honda Civic Type R Mugen. The sound of the naturally aspired engine with four cylinders is absolutely fabulous as it hits the 8500 revs mark. More precisely, the Honda Civic Type R Mugen gets its power from a 2.0 liter naturally aspired four cylinder engine that has an output of 240 horsepower.

Some of the most important features of the Honda Civic Type R Mugen include a new aero kit, lighter alloy wheels with sport tires, a huge rear wing, the removal of the rear seats and a high performance brake system.
