What you see in the pictures below is not a tank, nor a huge harvester. It is the latest creation of the Japanese automaker Honda . More precisely, it is the fourth generation Honda Step WGN as it is called on the JDM (Japanese Domestic Market). According to what the people over at Honda say, the Step WGN`s people carrier cabin space now measures 3095 millimeters. This is partly thanks to the fact that the Honda Step WGN has an increased height by 45 millimeters and an increased length by 50 millimeters in comparison to the third generation of the MPV (Multi Purpose Vehicle).
The fourth generation of the Honda Step WGN has a drivetrain which consists of a 2.0 liter i-VTEC four cylinder engine which is mated to a five speed automatic transmission on the all wheel drive versions or to a CVT on the front wheel drive models.
The Honda Step WGN comes with some very interesting features including a huge glass sky roof that has a width of 840 millimeters and a length of 1400 millimeters (Honda actually claims that this is the largest of any production vehicle in the world), an AFS (Active Front lighting System) and a multi view camera system that helps the driver during parking or when navigating narrow roads.
It is important to mention that the Honda Step WGN will remain just a JDM (Japanese Domestic Market) model. Now we all know that Japanese tuning companies are extremely insane and would modify any car possible, but let`s hope we won`t get to see a modified version of the Honda Step WGN anytime soon.
